Join us for The Simple Good's Summer Youth Art Showcase as we celebrate an inspiring afternoon of creativity, connection, and hope through the voices of Chicago's young artists. Enjoy an open gallery walk featuring original artwork created by students in The Simple Good's summer arts-based social-emotional learning programs. Hear directly from the young artists through student presentations and be inspired by remarks from a special guest speaker. Each piece reflects the artist's unique interpretation of the "simple good," showcasing personal stories, lived experiences, and the positive impact they hope to make in their communities. Throughout the summer, these students have developed creative skills while building confidence, empathy, and resilience. Meet the artists, hear the stories behind their work, and experience how art has become a powerful tool for self-expression, healing, and meaningful connection. This year's showcase features TSG students from across Chicago including Kenwood, Humbolt Park, Austin and Bronzeville —bringing together youth from neighborhoods across Chicago to share their creativity and inspire positive change.
